Development Research - Animals and Home-ware...

Creating the link between animals and home-ware line, there’s been a range of animal prints on furnishing and clothing already (as you can see bellow) Therefore how can I make mine different?!?

I have already confirmed I will be only using animals on the endangered list choosing a selected few of across a range of severity. However how should I present these animals?

Printed fur ?

Face? Eyes? Mouth? Paws?

What they eat?

There habitat?

Each print could be presented in a different way.

I should also take into consideration what animal will be printed on what type of home-ware?

Therefore I should create close links to the animal’s personality and the type of object or product it will be printed on?

Therefore ideas such as

Animals that hibernate 7 ½ months, therefore should be close related to object like bed sheets, cushions or blankets?

Animals that see well in the dark- light therefore a lamp shade ?

Animals that live underwater – bathroom products

Animals that can store a lot of food – carboard?
