While designing the Figure 8 logo I realised as I developed that I was unsure about the name. I don’t think it has enough depth or was strong enough to symbolise a big brand for a clothing company and the design is really import to look fashionable for young girls to make it seem more of a popular lifestyle option.

So I rethought the name of the company to have a stronger link to ballet. It was one that i had already came up with on the previous spider diagram.

Which is Attitude this term is used in ballet, to have your leg extended normally derrière (back) at a 145 degree angle.

Started to develop and experiment with the new name is started by trying to include more movement appearance with a hand written A, this look more personal I started searching different fonts and found Avenir next medium, I like the idea of have a very strong looking logo to set it self aside from other company’s. However I tried to design with the ballet terminology of attitude in mind this is how I came up with the letter A logo with and a colour part cut out at a 145 angle. At this point I wanted to create a logo that would attract and entertain older dancers. Therefore I wanted to come away from the soft pink colours so I used a deep red first of all.
